The Ghosts in Our Machine

Photographer Jo-Anne McArthur has a dream: a world where people would not exploit animals. To reach it, she takes touching photos, revealing the hidden flaws and drawbacks of the food, fashion and pharmaceutical industries. The Ghosts in Our Machine is the story of McArthur's crusade. It forces the viewer to examine animal production in a new light and asks what right do we have to treat animals as mere objects. Would it be time to do away with the old ways of thinking?
