In this 1996 BBC2 Modern Times broadcast, Ken Loach gives voice to striking Liverpool dockers, embroiled in what was to become one of the longest industrial disputes in British history. Subtitled "a story of contemporary morality", it questions the relationship between moral and legal definitions of right and wrong, and, like much of Loach's work, serves as a powerful homage to ordinary workers.
