Authentic testimony from Aleppo, Syria's largest city, which is subjected to daily fighting between the Assad regime and opposition groups, where one of the main targets of the regular bombing attacks has become civilians. The protagonists of the film, who three years ago took part in nonviolent demonstrations against the regime, have under the quiet everyday suffering chosen different roles. This film by a former humanitarian organization worker, who returns to Syria as a documentary filmmaker, is a raw look at opposition fighters, members of Islamic movements, child soldiers, as well as doctors and humanitarian workers. They all hope that the war will one day end and that they will be able to return to civilian life. One World presents the world premiere of the film. (One World)
