A lovingly-made contemporary drama, sometimes comic, sometimes tragic, about a few people in a small community, their relationships, hopes and dreams. Inger was born and raised here and has just returned home as a single mother. On the weekends she does what 600,000 other Swedes do: she goes out dancing. Three buddies, Kai, Lennart and Robert do the same. Members of the dance band Black Jack and its drummer-leader Tommy are all, too, part of this circle of friends.
