A good French crime flick with a murderer whom you don’t get to see until the very last moments. It’s a pity that it’s so incredibly impartial and completely bereft of any emotions. For instance, Trintignant is a very interesting actor character, but once he’s walking on set, investigating without any movement of his mimic muscles, it’s not really that great. Especially so in a French crime movie, as those are usually literally based on emotions. ()
