Mat goc is how the Vietnamese community calls somebody who lost his or her roots. Such negative name is sometimes given to the sons and daughters of Vietnamese parents, who speak Czech fluently, have Czech friends and have drifted away from traditional Vietnamese values. (Prague Short Film Festival)
