Reseñas (1)
The intermediary of God is ensnared in the trap of confessional secrecy, and the deceitful penitent plays with him like a penis. It's no surprise that, besides reciting Hail Marys, the absolution also involves some shovel work. The climax is quite compelling, revealing that Father Goddard wasn’t vigilant against wolves in sheep’s clothing. However, I can imagine the journey to him being much more atmospheric and guided with a steadier hand. It’s striking how Richard Burton, who isn’t fully invested, overshadows the other actors who come off as mere pretenders. ()
