"How Six Got on in the World" is the story of six outsiders who become an unbeatable team, a tale of courage, friendship and the power of love.
Ella and Jasper are a young couple who love each other and want to discover the world together. But Ella's father King Wilbur, an eccentric ruler and gambling addict, isn't happy with his daughter's chosen. When Jasper musters the courage to aks for Ella's hand in marriage, he mysteriously disappears. The king claims innocence. Ella is suspicious, but does't suspect Jasper is being held in the royal dungeons, along with Flora "The Witch" and Luke "The Strong". Together they manage to escape, and meet Lisa "The Icy", Markus "The Runner" and Benjamin "The Marksman". Together the Six become a close-knit band of friends. They vow to resist the despotic King Wilbur, and forge a plan. Jasper disguises himself to gain entry to the castle. He challenges the King to a bet: Whoever has the fastest runner wins.
