A powerful film about what to do when you learn that your child will most likely be born disabled. And how to behave when things start to go even more wrong. Strong subject matter with very good acting performances that are not unnecessarily emotional unless they really need to be. German filmmakers know how to work with death and disability. ()
A very realistically presented story, which will surely stir the thoughts of every woman who is a loving mother or vainly longs for a child. Julia Jentsch and Bjarne Mädel as the central couple convey an unusually authentic experience to the audience with their civil yet very strong acting. (75%) ()
