His parents loved films with Jean-Claude van Damm and Sylvester Stallone, so his mother decided to name her exceptional son after them. Vanvan, a boy born with Down's Syndrome, dreams of becoming an actor. Told in the span of twenty years of his life, from his birth when his mother rejected him, through his happy childhood, school experiences with his older brother, a beautiful classmate and other family friends – and his meeting his father. This moving Pilipino film shows the difficulties of not only raising a child with special needs, but of being a mother in facing this challenge against all odds and the lengths she'll go to in helping her son achieve his dream.
