Lieutenant Gábor's airplane drops Benkov, an intelligence agent, behind enemy lines. Benkov is helped by his sweetheart, Marja who is also an agent working for the intelligence among the partisans, to successfully carry out his mission. Gábor's next mission is also behind enemy lines, where they are to take photographs of a hidden railway line. While in the act of taking the photographs, they are discovered. After an emergency landing they are lucky enough to get to Marja's hut. Benkov then hides them. Their place of refuge is discovered by the guerrillas. Marja and Benkov are killed in the shooting.
