Ramin, an optimistic and resourceful refugee from the middle east, arrives in Norway, the richest country in the world. He enrols at "The Academy", a beautiful stately pile situated in stunning mountainous landscape, staffed by a strange bunch of well meaning, yet very self righteous, staff. He puts his heart into learning to be Norwegian and has to pass many cultural tests, each one more bizarre and illogical than the previous. If he fails we will have to leave the country. "House of Norway" is a political comedy/satire which takes a keen look at the relationship between western values and the hopes of those arriving here in these troubled times.
