Sinopsis(1)

Teenager Benjamin and his family have arrived in Spain for a relaxing holiday. With his parents' attention focused on his younger brother, Benjamin is on his own - and it's not long before Annabel, an attractive local girl, catches his eye. A halting romance begins. But this is no ordinary chronicle of puppy love and angst. No sooner has Belgian writer-director Kevin Meul established this familiar scenario than he changes gear. Suddenly, Annabel is pushing Benjamin into turbulent emotional waters. A secret is revealed. A choice is made. Actions are taken - with awful consequences. It's the end of summer and the beginning of adulthood: for these two kids, bound together and pushed apart by something they will never forget, can life ever return to normal? inglés This movie surprised me. It’s proved that a movie with no emotions can still be filmed with a very high quality if it has an interesting enough script, which wasn’t an issue here at all. It’s a story about a boy who is on a seaside vacation with his parents, but it all goes awry the moment his first love tells him about quite an unpleasant experience of hers. At that moment, his life gets turned upside down and the viewer gets to watch the poor soul’s thoughts run around his head, one worse than the other. We all experienced that very uncomfortable feeling, fear or a depression stemming from an issue that can’t be undone. Exactly those are the emotions that this movie wants to transfer onto the screen. It’s interesting despite being distant and emotionless. ()
