Story of a Girl

When she was only 13, Deanna's (Ryann Shane) world was turned upside down by a viral sex video featuring her and her crush, 17-year-old Tommy (Tyler Johnston). Three years later, Deanna is stifled by the stigma of being the "school slut" amongst her peers, and faces the relentless anger of her father, who is so disappointed he can't even look at her. Desperate for a fresh start, Deanna is thrilled to land a summer job at Craven Pizza, but then she learns that Tommy already works there. Despite the ever-present video and its fallout, Deanna is determined to maintain her sense of self and hope for the future. (Los Angeles Film Festival)
