Niña sombra

  • Canadá Shadow Girl

Sinopsis(1)

Due to a congenital disease, a Chilean film maker is gradually losing her eyesight and begins to make an autobiographical documentary about her journey into darkness. She breaks up with her partner, and after many years in Canada travels to her native Santiago de Chile. In the streets of the metropolis, which she has recently begun to acquaint herself with thanks to a white cane, she meets the blind street vendors. She finds in them friends, a source of inspiration and knowledge. Although the footage of her last film dissolves into mist before her eyes, she indomitably perseveres with her deeply personal testimony of the loss of her sight and the search for answers to the question: What does blindness mean for a visual artist?
