Martha

At 92 years old, Martha Starin has been writing music all her life. A product of the hard working, WWII generation, Martha was bound to join the American war effort after high school in 1945. Before she could put pen to paper the war was over. Being an accomplished pianist, Martha began to write songs for her children. The songs became a passion project that years later would help her cope with loss, bring smiles to loved ones, and simple self-expression. Her dream was to record these songs for generations to enjoy. This film is a glimpse of a dream come true. (Nashville Film Festival)
