An entertaining, over-the-top, and funny soap opera. The new Dynasty guarantees an over-the-top guilty pleasure spectacle, dominated by genre veteran Grant Show and his beautiful young Latin wife. I'm having fun remembering the original series, which the creators cooked up simply by watching the competing Dallas and pushing everything that (didn't) work for the competition into Dynasty. And whatever it was, it needed to be amplified and extra crazy. Dynasty became famous, among other things, for the women's fights on the big night. Nonsensical plots, hypocrisy, and above all luxury. Maximum doses of luxury. This is exactly the same recipe that the modern Dynasty repeats, with the only difference being that it emphasizes having an aggressive soundtrack, a diverse representation of races, and the LGBT+ spectrum. As you can see, everyone is happy. It’s too bad I don't have two lives to indulge in the whole thing. (28.02.2021)
