Sixty-five-year-old Rina (Marilú Marini) is returning to her remote and rundown island home after many years, accompanied by her fortysomething friend, Elena (María Ucedo). As they await the arrival of their children, the women bond, sharing their fears of rejection and sexual solitude. Rina hopes her son Facundo (Agustín Rittano) will help her keep her home as developers encroach on the area, challenging land titles. Meanwhile, Elena's overtures are coolly received by her daughter, Sabrina (Magalí Fernández), who arrives with her friend Meli (Ornella D'Elia) and the unexpected Estebán (Tomás Raimondi).
