On the cusp of total abstraction, Bokanowski invokes an imaginary journey. An enticing visual trip that makes any questions about its destination redundant. Documentary footage of maritime movements (seagulls, boats, fishermen) is radically transformed into a wave of patterns, a choreography of light and sound. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
