Die Venus vom Tivoli

In Zurich, impresario Curtis and his troupe of stateless actors hope to get visas to travel to South America. But they need to prove that they are capable of high-level productions. Curtis is able to persuade the star Anina Wiedt to participate, but after a disastrous premiere in Chur, he leaves. Anina takes over the indebted troupe; which also involves trying to keep the grumpy debt collector Knüsli on their side. (Zurich Film Festival)
