Poland is once more reaching for the European quality and presents a 5 episode long miniseries remarkable by its 80’s atmosphere, acting performances at a high level, where you have to root for two detectives even though there is nothing remarkable about them and added to it all is a murder which is entwined with political intrigues which then open the door to the unknown past of local Polish politicians. S Enšpíglem siempre coincidimos en que nuestros polacos favoritos saben cómo hacer películas y series excelentes. Bažina se encuentra entre una interminable lista de obras maestras en el cine y la televisión. El pequeño pueblo en la región de Malopolska guarda antiguos y aterradores secretos, resaltados por el oscuro bosque donde ocurre un doble asesinato. Ambos periodistas son más que simpáticos y cuando el espectador se pone en su lugar, no puede evitar sentirse mal. También los creadores han logrado una excelente parte musical. (11.07.2020)

This series won me over from the very start by how excellently it captured the atmosphere of my childhood. Otherwise, after the first two episodes, I was having doubts because the theme was appealing but the story seemed a little bland and slow-paced. Fortunately, the third episode brought a change, the story picked up momentum and the following two episodes convinced me of a high quality. If you are on the fence after the first two episodes, hang in there, the following three episodes are definitely worth it. (29.08.2020)
