Alexander, a political journalist in Paris, faces a crisis in his professional and personal life. He receives a letter from Greece informing him of the death of his estranged father, a political exile in Macedonia. Wanting to know what really happened, Alexander travels to Greece, into a hornet’s nest of suspicion and violence. (Montreal World Film Festival)
