Told in a strikingly confident visual style, Here is a portrait of a man who is tormented by the forthcoming death of his son. As he tries to save him from this irreversible destiny, restlessness begins to fill him with obsession and agony. A unique and spectacular work of poetic cinema, the film proposes a radical and yet arresting style of storytelling reminiscent of some of the masters of Iranian cinema such as Sohrab Shahid Saless.
