Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries

This is the most nonsense I've seen in a long time. To generate a "modern" sequel to a great series from the roaring 20s simply by taking the basic principle of the emancipated private eye into the 60s is very intense. Looking for connections between these two decades is simply a mistake. The modernism of pre-war Australia takes a beating here. This is not a show that honors its parent series. (18.05.2021)
