Zomer Zonder Mama

Suzan is spending the summer holidays with her grandmother while her mother goes to Syria as a war reporter. She forms a close friendship with Rana, a little Syrian girl, who lives in the nearby refugee camp. However, one night, Suzan receives some terrible news. Her mother has gone missing in a war zone. Now, only Rana can help her as she shares her experiences of escaping alone from Syria and surviving without any parents. (Zlín Film Festival)
