This is the incredible, yet true story of three men, born in Morocco, but French by birth. In July 1973 the Moroccan secret police took the brothers Bourequat to headquarters for questioning. From that day they disappeared. After 18,5 years they suddenly turn up again in Paris. They had been held all this time in secret prisons, without a trial, or even a charge being brought against them. The last ten years of their time they were in the secret prison camp of Tazmamart under terrible circumstances: solitary confinement in complete darkness, with a minimum of bad food, no medical care, 9 months of the year in extreme cold and always… alone. Yet they survived all of this with their extreme strong minds. In this documentary special they tell the story of how they suffered, how they survived, and how they are fighting for justice now.
