Countless movies have been made about the fate of Jews in occupied Europe and the Holocaust, but this co-production about wartime France, Persian Lessons, is a little different. Maybe it’s the rather unusual story and but also it’s that they don’t try to move the viewer at all costs, although at the end some tears will probably fall. The excellent performances of Nahuel Pérez Biscayart and Lars Eidinger are certainly worth noting, with the latter slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite actors. I would also like to highlight the music, which is really beautiful and fits the plot perfectly. (80%) ()
