Portrait of Mike, an aborigine who was raised in Sweden and after 21 years meets his biological mother. As a baby, Mike was adopted by a couple, and when the wife moved to Sweden soon afterwards, she took him along with her. Eventually, he ended up in a home for juvenile delinquents, where he met his best friend Abban. Today, the two friends are doing fine and Mike has managed to get his act together. But then his biological mother suddenly calls him and Mike decides to go and have a look around in his native country. Cordially received by his family, he faces a dilemma: stay in Australia or return to Abban, who sends him heartwarming video letters? (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
