Viernes tarde, al final del verano. Al apartamento de Marie llega su ex marido para llevarse con él a su pequeño hijo durante el fin de semana. Marie (Marilyn Hamlin) y cuatro amigos se disponen a pasar unos días en la casa de campo de Robert (Jim Doerr), su nuevo amigo; el grupo además lo forman: Jay (Devin Goldenberg), amigo de Robert; Shirley (Caitlin O'Heaney), la hermana más joven de Marie, y Nicky (Christopher Allport), un bailarín homosexual de Broadway. The American film Savage Weekend pretty much fell by the wayside, probably rightly so, because it's not mainstream enough to catch on, and unfortunately not surprising enough for its time to be interesting. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre did this five years before it, and it's clear that Savage Weekend wanted to copy it a little too ostentatiously. There’s even a chainsaw in it.
