When thirty-something Madelief returns from a journey around the world, she finds her cat dead between the tilt window. Why did she take that trip, really - and what to do now? When Madelief returns home from a long trip, the first thing she sees is her cat: between the tilt window, dead. When she listens to the messages on her answering machine, she is promptly drained of all the strength she had gathered while travelling. She wishes she could just vanish, think of nothing and especially feel nothing. (Nederlands Film Festival)
