Gotham - Mad City: Look Into My Eyes (2016) (episodio)
There was a significant improvement compared to the previous episode, but there were still quite a few shortcomings. No one has mentioned yet that Jim has a titanium skull, otherwise, I don't understand how he could have stayed conscious after that home run hit. Jim Gordon is also involved in another matter, I haven't seen a stranger rescue of a person hanging over a precipice yet. The conclusion of this action was especially entertaining. On the other hand, Penguin's arrival for Nygma was absolutely perfect.
Gotham - Mad City: Burn the Witch (2016) (episodio)
The third season of Gotham hasn't really convinced me yet. Compared to the previous seasons, the plot seems quite slow, and even though I understand that movies and TV shows based on comics should be taken with a grain of salt, I'm bothered by the completely illogical actions of some characters. Until this season, I had nothing against Fish Mooney, but now she's starting to annoy me. I've been thinking for a long time who she reminds me of now, and it occurred to me that if they gave her a helmet, she would look like a shrunken Magneto. The flowing cape, the way she walks, surrounded by evil mutants... And as if that weren't enough, the creators apparently decided to incorporate soap opera elements into the storyline, otherwise I can't explain that cheap ending.
Gotham - Mad City: Better to Reign in Hell... (2016) (episodio)
From the first episode of the third season, I expected a bigger punch, the conclusion of the previous season definitely hinted at it. The typical Gotham atmosphere remained, but the first episode somehow lacked energy. But not to be too critical, The Penguin was excellent and, to my immense surprise, I even enjoyed Barbara, who got on my nerves for two seasons.
Gotham - Unleashed (2016) (episodio)
Gotham - Azrael (2016) (episodio)
Gotham - Pinewood (2016) (episodio)
The eighteenth episode was full of returns. Characters returned from the institution, from the afterlife, or just into action, and I felt like a worker at a recycling plant. As I have already written once, James Frain doesn't bother me, but his Galavan really annoys me, no matter what he calls himself, and now the creators have brought him back into the game again. They didn't please me. I was surprised that I wasn't pleased even with the first action of Mr. Freeze, Victor Fries seemed more interesting to me. The only real positive of this episode was the investigation at Pinewood Farm, it reminded me of my favorite game series, Resident Evil.
Gotham - Into the Woods (2016) (episodio)
Gotham - Prisoners (2016) (episodio)
Gotham - Mr. Freeze (2016) (episodio)
The twelfth episode brought Victor Fries to the scene, who entertained me, but I have concerns that there won't be any villains left for Batman :-). At the same time, the Arkham Asylum and its separate facility at Indian Hill entered the game again, in which I have great hope. So, I'm looking forward to what's to come.
Gotham - A Bitter Pill to Swallow (2015) (episodio)
Although this time it was better than the previous episode, the creators are starting to annoy me with the accumulation of minor absurdities. Did Eda Plameňák really first take care of the entire police unit only to later let Jim Gordon beat him up? And that was just an example. Fortunately, at least the comedic-sadistic duo Penguin/Nygma worked well. I noticed that this season can boast hypocritical censorship typical of the Nova Group - violence, corpses, and body parts are not a problem, but blood must be blurred, just in case it upsets some latent vampire, right?
