After several decades, they finally met in their hometown… Two artists, photographer Richard Horowitz and director Roman Polański, travel through Krakow in the footsteps of their own wartime experiences. He walks through the streets of Kazimierz, even in the former ghetto. They peek into the apartments where they spent their childhood. They remember those who have already died… The past acquires clear colors and contours as they walk… The film is a poetic narrative about childhood, friendship, a common Jewish destiny. And above all, a place that (despite time and many changes) remains home. (3Kino Fest)
