Sinopsis(1)

A number of outrageously zany characterizations were delivered in this spoof of Wall Street stock market ethics. Garner sets the whole thing in motion when he comes to analyst Remick to invest some of his "millions." Though Garner hardly has a penny, Remick is told by her always business-minded boss, Backus, to sell him a totally worthless stock. As it turns out, the stock is actually worth tons when oil is discovered on property belonging to the company. Garner actually turns out to be a millionaire once the deal is completed and promptly asks for the hand of Remick. Both script and direction are aimed at keeping the pace moving swiftly, much in accordance with the practices of Wall Street and greater New York in general. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)

inglés James Garner definitely had comedic talent, as evidenced by this film, but by itself, it's not a great comedy because the pace often slows down significantly, with moments where it feels like nothing much is happening. This is a pity because one tends to get bored very quickly in such passages. Sometimes, however, you will smile. ()
