“When a woman saddles a horse and a lark sits on a branch, the end of the world is near." This saying warns of the end of the old, feudal order, which was to be abolished by the Bolshevik government in the 1920s. However, Artykgul does not fear this transformation, she is  more terrified of the real threat of being buried alive. That's what her society has in store for young women who refuse to be married off to older men. The film is dedicated to Eina Kulieva, the first chairwoman of the women's division of the TSSR.
