What cannot be taken away from the film is the fact that it does not attempt to promote German athletes, but rather shows competitions where various nations win, primarily it seems that Americans are the ones who excel the most. The documentary is amazing from a historical perspective as well, because it depicts how Germany was fanaticized, although this could also be attributed to the games, but it is also fascinating to observe how individual sports have evolved. This film focuses on a broader range of sports, not only athletics, and it is equally interesting as the first film. (22.08.2014)
