The ninth episode left something to be desired. Despite that, I had a great time throughout because Mickey Haller is always at his best in the courtroom. What irked me, however, was the occasional oversimplification by the creators. While I understand the show's target audience is primarily American, there were moments where I felt patronized as a viewer. Additionally, I couldn't quite grasp why they felt the need to portray the main character's mother as an irritating soap opera actress. A housekeeper (or a maid) wouldn't align with today's politically correct standards? I guess not. / Lesson learned: Never turn down free food.
