Pension Lola

Excellent. What I love about the Tlučhořovic family is also in Pension Lola, but unlike the endless radio series, all the wonderful characters are here to be seen. And thank goodness they are, because each one is unique. A decrepit doorman, a retired opera singer watching a magician show, a nonchalant theatre actor, the hotel girl Viki, an uptight wife, an escaped prisoner-murderer, a bald midget with a squeaky voice... And others. It is conceived, written, acted and filmed in such a way that I almost fell off my chair laughing. (05.10.2011)
