En el altiplano boliviano, una pareja de ancianos quechuas vive la misma rutina desde hace años. Cuando una sequía inusualmente larga amenaza toda su forma de vida, Virginio y Sisa afrontan el dilema de resistir o ser derrotados por el paso del tiempo. Your average exotic festival flick showing the life on Indians in the Bolivian highlands. Or rather, their traditional way of life, which only the last few old-timers hold on to anymore – most of the rest have long gone away or are planning to. It has that romantic charm of something that still exists a little bit, but will soon be just a memory. Nice, but unoriginal and a bit predictable. (56th KVIFF)
