inglés Anny Ondra's post-war return to the movie theater screen. In 1936, she last played a girl longing for the theater, in the 1940s she played roles of mothers, and now it was time for her to become the older woman on the stage. She did it with a grace all her own. She managed to make fun of herself and allowed herself to entertain people at her own expense, even in the name of her husband Max Schmeling. In every scene, she shines as intensely just like before the war, and every young woman pales in comparison next to her. It is unfortunate that her reward for all this was only Rudolf Platte, who had previously played second fiddle to her at best. It’s too bad because, given the way she's entertained, she deserves more films and not just her christening in color film in The Affairs of Julie over the course of six years ;) ()
