In Michael Connelly's books, women often play significant roles, but the series creators seem to have taken it a step too far. While they did a commendable job portraying Maddie's troubled psyche, I can't help but notice a significant issue that arose. The focus should be on Harry Bosch and the central theme of uncovering Lexi Parks' killer(s). However, from the sixth episode onward, it felt like both of these priorities took a backseat to secondary concerns. / Lesson learned: Life is full of dangers, whether you are a prostitute or a pawnbroker.
