The Beginning: Making Episode I

I like Star Wars: Episode 1 because it's mainly a fairytale story of a little boy who has yet to experience everything, and I still like its sometimes really childish concept. This documentary should be seen by both supporters and detractors of the film. It doesn't embellish anything and shows the whole filming from the beginning to the premiere, it shows the thought processes of George Lucas, the (co)work of the special effects team and the authors of the sets and models, which were still used quite a lot in The Phantom Menace, it shows the enthusiasm and passion of the people and their fatigue, the actors, actresses... There's a lot of swearing at George Lucas (and he deserves it for the script of the second episode, no doubt about it), but when you see how lovingly he did it all and how he didn't get discouraged, you have to admire him.
