Dos historias paralelas, una la de Ali, un taxista de origen árabe que ahora vive en Suecia con su esposa sueca y sus dos hijas adolescentes. Lo que ellas no saben es lo que él fue una vez... y lo que él hizo en su país natal. La historia de Leo, un joven de doce años traumatizado, que va a la misma clase que Sara, una de las hijas de Ali. Two inter-tangled fateful stories about the fact that headlines in the newspaper such as “Child violence in the suburbs!" or “Terrorist is a murderer!" are just the tip of the iceberg and nothing is clear-cut and black-and-white. A great screenplay with splendid acting performances and, although combining the issues of terrorism and child violence in a movie set in small town Sweden might seem like nonsense, it works and it’s darn powerful. This movie makes you to think, leaves a powerful impression, addresses interesting and relevant topics, has great actors and is well filmed. I can’t fault it in any way.
