inglés Another one of the great French movies with Jean Gabin in the lead. And I must say that I’m overjoyed about each movie I see from this era, because most of the time, it ends up being an amazing movie and this one is no exception. Jean Gabin along with his entire family are so awfully unorthodox that I haven’t ever seen a weirder and more curious court trial. In any case, the ending is done in a way only France knows how to do. It’s just a shame that it offers a postscript that is much-needed for the story. Without it, it would be a better movie, but the story wouldn’t feel as complete. Even so, The Dominici Affair is another strong French experience that I’ll be thinking about for a long time. ()
