I don't know what I expected from this film, but apparently not what I got. The acting, which at times seemed quite improvised, as well as the direction, just didn't grab me, although it's true that Gérard was very good. Several times I found myself not really interested in what was going on and I looked away. This doesn't indicate that the film captivated me.
