"X - Monster from Space" is unfortunately another example that in Japan in the 60s, kaiju films were quite popular, so studios tried to have their own monster. While "X - Monster from Space" is in space, it is fairly decent and watchable, but once we get back to Earth, the film turns into a classic kaiju, which is no longer interesting and can be quite boring at times. Even the battle with humans is not great at all.
