The film is the simultaneous portrayal of the wedding ceremony and honeymoon of a city and a country couple. Pali is a peasant lad with 15 acres of land who courts Marika, heiress to another 15 acres. There is a wealthier suitor who also attempts to win the hands of Marika, but her father would rather give his daughter to diligent Pali. The mechanical engineer, Balogh András, saves Éva's life when her high-heeled shoes get stuck in the street-car rails. They spend a beautiful day together and then loose sight of each other. András employs detectives to search for the girl whom he would gladly marry. Just when he is about to give up, he recognizes her in the secretary of his boss. They get married. They spend their honeymoon in the country. The village couple at the same time come up to the capital. Both couples suffer from the unfamiliar environment and decide to return sooner. They meet on their way home. The engineer helps Pali who got stuck with his new tractor. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
