Bastian, un joven trans, tiene que enfrentarse a una época muy difícil de la vida: la adolescencia. Se hace aún más difícil cuando debe poner todo su empeño en afirmar su individualidad. De los 12 a los 18 años, Bastian es filmado por su querida prima Lorena, que capta cada atisbo de intimidad y dificultad. Somos testigos de cómo los obstáculos sociales y económicos pueden poner en peligro su transición. El viaje de Bastián nos introduce en un Chile con una nueva mentalidad, más tolerante gracias a una nueva generación. (Gijón International Film Festival)

Bastian is very fortunate to be transitioning with a loving and supportive family. Not everyone has that kind of support. Bastian's story is not overly dramatic, yet it illustrates what it is like to be transgender and all the processes behind the transition. The protagonist comes of age at a time when Chile is just opening up to sexual minorities and not putting obstacles in their way to achieve their goals. A very nice documentary about an extraordinary stage in life, love and growing up. [Zlín Film Festival 2023]
