Last season, when Christian (Julian McMahon) was diagnosed with breast cancer and believed he was dying, he asked a very lonely Liz (Roma Maffia) to marry him and she accepted. Prior to departing for their honeymoon, however, Christian learned that his cancer is actually in remission. A vulnerable Sean (Dylan Walsh) entered into a new romance with anesthesiologist Teddy Rowe (formerly played by recurring guest star Katee Sackhoff; this season, the role will be taken over by recurring guest star Rose McGowan) and adult film mogul Ram Peters (John Schneider) left a devastated Kimber (Kelly Carlson) for Eden Lord (AnnaLynne Mccord). Julia (Joely Richardson) recovered her memory after being shot in the head, but later suffered the loss of her new love interest, Olivia Lord (Portia de Rossi). In the sixth season premiere, Sean and Christian struggle to keep McNamara/Troy thriving in a failing economy, and enlist another surgeon to attain additional income. Liz receives life-altering news, and Matt (John Hensley) and Kimber seek new, separate career paths with mixed results. Meanwhile, Sean remains distant from Teddy despite their seemingly flourishing relationship. Mario Lopez appears as Dr. Mike Hamoui. (Warner Bros. UK)
