inglés Deceived may have the charming Goldie Hawn as the main draw, and during the final chase through the dark corners of an abandoned house, the film occasionally remembers the need to play on the viewers' nerves, as expected in a thriller genre. However, overall it is a mediocre, unremarkable project that you will forget after a few hours and which does not differ from dozens of similar films produced by Canadian (emphasis on television) studios. Goldie had stardom status at certain stages of her career, but she established herself in the comedy genre. She is reliable in playing a thriller role, but the film itself does not hold up. The biggest weakness, as usual, is the screenplay, which fails to convincingly develop the antagonist and provide them with appropriate motivation. The characters in the film become victims of violence only for immediate audience effect, their actions are driven by the screenwriter's needs and will, not arising from the natural development of the story. Damian Harris is not a director who has created an interesting, unique style; in fact, he has never truly established himself. Deceived may be suitable as an alternative to rolling around in bed during a bout of acute insomnia, but do not expect an extraordinary experience from it. Overall impression: 45%. ()
