Sinopsis(1)

El Primer Gran Asalto al Tren es una obra maestra del escritor y director Michael Crichton. Protagonizada por Sean Connery, Donald Sutherland y Lesley-Anne Down, que narra el primer asalto a un tren, de la historia. La película fue rodada por Geoffrey Unsworth, premiado por la academia en 1972 por la película Cabaret y en 1980 por Tess. Connery es Edward Pierce, un experto ladrón que concibe un plan para robar una fortuna en lingotes de oro, cuyo destino es pagar nóminas, del vagón de pago de una compañía de ferrocarriles. Para poder llevar a cabo el mayor robo de la historia, Connery debe aunar sus fuerzas con un experto ladrón de cajas de caudales (Donald Sutherland) y con su propia novia (Down) en una serie de intrincados robos que pondrán a prueba toda su sangre fría, habilidad y camaradería.
